Best Friends Animal Sanctuary Tour

Best Friends Animal Society, based in Kanab, operates the largest sanctuary for homeless animals in the United States.  On any given day, about 1,500 dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and other animals make their home at Best Friends, located in beautiful Angel Canyon.

Tours of the canyon, which includes stops at the many animal areas of the sanctuary--with fun names like Dogtown and Horse Haven--as well as views of ancient petroglyphs, leave from the Best Friends Welcome Center, which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week, at specific times each day.  It is advised that you call ahead to reserve a spot on the one and a half hour tour of Best Friends and Angel Canyon.

Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab.  Call (435) 644-2001 or visit www.bestfriends.org for more information or to make a reservation.
