Kanab 4th of July is started with a canon blast to get everyone going. The Lions club serves a delicious breakfast and a fun run starts the day. The Parade usually starts right at 10 am - if you're late you might miss it!
Lots of class reunions are held so its a good time to get reaquainted with old friends and family.
After the parade, there are booths and games at the Jacob Hamblin park into the late afternoon, and a dinner served by the Kanab High School Booster Club.
The after-dark fireworks are nothing short of spectacular with the vermillion cliffs as a backdrop. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of a Kanab 4th of July.
